Built to replace unsuccessful McDershon I that was lost in space in 3319, the McDershon II is one of the most successful starships in the Fleet. It is 18,000 feet long and can achieve the warp factor of 56 with the still widely used Bryce warp core 7. It is the ship that uses the Federation's experimental Super Shield and is commanded by Kara McAllyHOME
