Earth is the home planet of the Federation. The population is 16 billion people. Most of its natural gases are gone and the Rain forests are so far gone oxygen in the air are at dangerous levels.

In the year 2089 the hole in the Ozone grew to the size of Europe and then in 2100 the hole was as large as Asia. Almost 84 million people had died from ultraviolet radiation by the following century. Shortly after First Contact, the Chassaccans supplied Earth with technoledgy to regenerate the Troposphere.
