The Champion VII is the seventh starship to bear the name Champion and the prototype for the Super Nova Class. She is over 23,760 long, the longest and biggest starship in the Federation. The ship was selected to be fitted out with the new Stradda warp core which increased her maximum warp to 75.3 and the new TRI-laser XX2s that are 4 times as powerful than the XX1s. The ship also replaced the U.S.S. McDershon II as Flagship. Her commander is Admiral Jason West.
